Crimestoppers Hermes

Crimestoppers is a charity that allows anonymous callers to report crimes. Crimestoppers takes information from informants, removes any identifying information and fowards the data to the relevant county police force in the UK.

I manged the full lifecycle of Crimestoppers: Hermes. Our PM and I pitched the solution to Crimestoppers against eight other teams. I then went on to write the Tech Spec after discussions with the client, build out the server & database infrastructure, write the back-end logic, setup a front-end design in the system, release and provide post-release support.

Crimestoppers was looking to replace a 15 year old desktop system for their call handling process. It was slow and un-intuitive. We offered a closed-off web app based solution with a clear design and smooth responsiveness.
